about

Made November 1st & 2nd, 2021

"This album is brutal, subtle, and well crafted. Somewhere between harsh noise and HNW. Claustrophobic."

Inspired by Willard Herman getting in touch about releasing something on Haunted Head Records, then looking at his artwork. The piece on the cover is called 'Diseased, Deformed, And In Hiding' and I am massively pleased to have his permission to use it on the front of this. It immediately filled my mind with ideas, and led to this being a 3 part album with each of those words in the titles.

Thematically this is about isolation, agoraphobia, anxieties relating to the outside world, especially regarding recent virus and pandemic happenings (I've said it before, I'll keep saying it, humans need to stop fucking around with animals and leave them be!), getting frightened or feeling cornered and stuck in your own house because of just sheer despair at the atrocities and demonic, moronic and catatonic behaviours that people are capable of.

As alone as this world can make you feel sometimes though, you aren't alone if you don't want to be, so never feel you have to hide away forever.
